Shout the Good Competitions
Frequently, we are prompted by the spirit in our hearts to call a friend, send a smiley face on a text, hold the door longer for a stranger and ask the cashier how their day is. In a similar light, consider who needs to hear about the following competitions hosted by SevenDays® Make a Ripple, Change the World.
Know Someone Trying to Make a Ripple?
It is possible that you don’t qualify for either of the competitions I am highlighting in this blog post. However, please don’t dismiss the idea that you might KNOW a young person who is trying to make a ripple of kindness in the world and could use a platform.
SevenDays® has a platform for the song and essay writers; if you know a young person with these talents. Let’s connect!
Our Faith, Love & Song competition was created to reward songwriters, 14 – 21 years of age, for songs composed with lyrics inspiring and uplifting others to be accepting of others regardless of racial, religious, or cultural differences and to spread kindness. The winner of the competition will receive the $5,000 scholarship. Second place will receive $2,500 and $1,000 for third place. The competition hopes to promote understanding and acceptance through music.
Deadline for song submissions is mid-February.
